Dorothy is a graduate of University of Rhode Island: She is currently a food Safety Manager Certification Instructor. She's a retired Family and Consumer Sciences and Special Education and teacher from the Cranston School system. She currently substitutes as a school administrator in the Pawtucket

School system and a proctor for Food Safety Manager Certification exams. Her church and community activities include: current member of Sts. Sahag and Mesrob Parish Council, past Sunday School teacher, church membership committee, Women’s Guild, Sts. Sahag and Mesrob Sports Scholarship Committee, Armenian Chorale, AHARI and Daughters of Vartan. She has four children and seven grandchildren.
